Hi Julia
Just looking at some of your other sightings of plants, it would be useful to adopt the same technique of putting you hand behind the seedhead or flower to get decent photo. E.g. you could have done it with this one:

Yeah I have had real trouble getting my phone to zoom in on the plants - until I did this to stop the wind and then it fixed the zoom problem! I will continue to do so, since you don't mind the ruined aesthetic! Thanks Michaelb.

If there is no wind, you can use this trick to get the camera to focus on the plant, then remove your hand to get a nicer photo.
