Phyllodes (leaves) have only one vein and are not wedge-shaped. Sometimes Acacia pravissima wedge-leaved wattle and Acacia cultriformis knife leaf wattle can be hard to tell apart. I think A. pravissima is local to higher areas of the ACT but is widely planted and propagating around Canberra and A. cultriformis is a non-local native widely planted and propagating.
