It is extremely difficult to ID plants from photos if they are not in full flower. You need good closeups of the flowers as well as of the leafy stems. The only grevillea from Mongarlowe I know that is at all special is Grevillea juniperina subsp. villosa, whose range is between Oallen and Monga National Park.
Thank you, Betty. That's about as close as I can get, and I don't know that I've seen it flower any further than this? I'll keep monitoring, but I appreciate your time and feedback.
My two sightings were on 31 December, 1997, one with yellow flowers, the other with red, along the road from Mongarlowe that comes out on the Kings Highway near the top of the Clyde. I think there were several other interesting sightings along that road too.
