I am suggesting this species even though I am aware boh Bold Systems 4 and Lepidoptera Butterfly House say this species is restricted to Queensland - however the ALA shows recent sightings of this species extending more to the south including the northern coastal half of NSW (to as far south as Gosford). See: https://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:afd.taxon:2ab39b28-2090-45f0-856b-c54afc71e354
OK, I think this is quite a common moth in O'Connor at this time of year .Interestingly though, the ALA shows P. philostaura having a similar distribution as I described for P. mucida above.
