This site was close to the suspected but not confirmed nesting site. Expect this is the same female who mothered a male chick 2017. The tree that was used for the male chick has since had storm damage. Hollow still there but no branches. Have not found a hollow used for this years chick (a female) but seem to have moved to scribbly gums approx 200 metres away. Only sighted sitting on branches. The new family of 3 were observed eating the nuts/seeds on a mature stringy bark tree.
