To ID yellow flowered Oxalis to species level, I need to look at the junctions of the leaves and the stems to see the stipules (leafy outgrowths), if present, the direction of the hairs on the stems rather than on the leaf stalks, whether the plant is by itself or clonal, and often the shape of the seed case. This is not a complete list.
