This area was cleared of willows and revegetated with native trees and shrubs as part of a Landcare project. We would like to confirm that this is a native grass which has possibly re-colonized.
This grass is relatively common in the southern Tuggeranong area in drainage lines and along creeks that are a bit wetter than surrounding areas. In the wild it seems to be quite ok, but when planted in a domestic situation it is a bit of a pest and can spread rapidly.
