This looks similar to the caterpillar of Anthela basigera, which is basically found in South Australia. The adult A. basigera is very similar to the adults of A. denticulata (Victoria), A. euryphrica (central NSW) and A. oressarcha (mountain areas of southern New South Wales). I have seen no pictures of the caterpillar of A. oressarcha, but it is likely to be similar to that of A. basigera, so could be this one.
