From the archives, remember it was an impressive beast at the time. Don't think it is a Canberra raspy cricket, unless its way off its normal dist. Suggest this as an alternative as this species is known from Kosciusko

There are a couple of wingless species from alpine areas, Arolla lewisii and Wirritina. There's no key available but Wirritina seems more likely. Closely related to Cooroboorama.
