Looks like the pigs had gone through and done a number on this colony. I examined the labellum of an uprooted plant (not pictured) and determined it to be C. valida. I did find one pair of leaves that was quite broad (picture 1) which is apparently characteristic of C. turfosa.
I'll confirm as C valida here. The broad leaves may be C turfosa, not sure whether that is conclusive enough or not. I think the C turfosa are down in the swamp though, did you go down that far?
I went right down to the swamp. I don't know where any of the colonies are though. I did find a pair of leaves growing in the sphagnum, but I didn't stay for a photo because I was immediately swarmed by ants!
Sounds familiar! I had the same problem with the ants when I went looking for them a few years back. Send me an email (tobiashayashi@hotmail.com) and I'll give you some pointers if you'd like.
