I think this was the nest of the tawny frogmouth family in previous sightings very close by: two babies being fed in tree 10m away on 22 November, one bird calling 28 November, two young and parent 6 December (last sighting by KL). It is a loose horizontal platform of sticks in the first fork of a small gum tree, less than 4m from the ground. I have been looking for their nest and this is the only possibility I have found.
