Mike can you remember what the seeds looked like, where they in a pyramid shape with hooked spikes along the edges of the pyramid? Or where they a seed sitting inside flat flaps?

You are just lucky I could recognise there were two species of dock. I will check and see if I have better photos, or I will go and take some more when it is not windy.

Image 3 looks as if the seed cases are developing into Rumex conglomeratus or Rumex crispus, with a boss in the centre surrounded by a smooth edged wing.
I think image 2 is of flowers.
