Matches Euryglossa adelaidae on Bowerbird.

For once the bees are kind to us and give clear clues. Males of E. ephippiata have a short orange bands towards the end of the antennae, while males of E. adelaidae have the antennae entirely orange. A second difference is that the abdomen of E. ephippiata is uniformly coloured but E. adelaidae usually looks banded. Bowerbird has an image labelled adelaidae that fits neither of these criteria because occasionally ther is individual variation and it can be hard to decide.

Thanks for the explanation Michael - something I will be able to look out for in the future
