Dense clumps of the plants are scattered over 10-15 metres towards the top of a dirt embankment. Christine's photo of 6 Oct 2018 from the same location was called Oxalis debris var. corymbosa but the plants are definitely O. articulata as the leaves and inflorescences are growing from a rhizome (see my third photo). I've collected a specimen for the herbarium.
