There is a slight possibility it is Ranunculus graniticola, though that usually grows at higher altitudes. They are distinguished from each other by the shape of the seeds and the shape of the nectary lobe, which produces nectar, near the base of the insides if the petals. Lappaceus usually has branched flowering stems; graniticola always has unbranched flower stems.
