Sorry about the very poor photos - it is of an Australian Owlet-Nightjar. We have seen it several times in the same tree hollow. The hollow is on the right hand side of Old Coach Rd (if you are coming from the Woolshed) as you come up the first hill it is at the top about half way up a small-medium white eucalypt. It is very shy and as soon as we came over the top of the hill, it retreated into the hollow. Good luck finding it. :)
