This is a terrific follow up photo set ! Thanks Rod and Deb. So glad the family did so well !

I have seen another swan family fail to raise their young at Point Hut Pond, because of foxes which are a serious problem around this part of the world. So I was very pleased they did well.

We have chatted to a few of the residents around the pond and they really keep a close eye on things but can't watch 24 hours a day but I would say the closeness of the house and frequency of people around would help keep foxes at bay. 5 out of 6 young is a very good rate.
