Change of scientific name to Euphorbia dallachyana I'd propose to change the name in this record and remove E. drummondii from drop-down Euphorbia list to avoid confusion.
See my other comment Waltraud, the two names refer to different species and are both appropriate to keep. This record strikes me as unusual but Betty will have been pretty accurate with her IDs and Its not really possible to make an accurate revised call, so I think it is best to leave this be. The current set-up we have is the correct one, moderators will just have to watch out for accidental usage of the E.drummondii.
Okay; thank you both for clarification which I very much appreciate. I have a closer look next opportunity to see the identifying features; for a ley person the distinguishing features between the 2 species are a bit subtle. Waltraud
They are for anyone. It needs a x20 binocular microscope or a good macro app on a phone that can blow photos up to x20. See couplet 25 in the key to Euphorbia in PlantNet, which starts with the difference in shape of the stipules, (under 1 mm long). Plus 2 other characters of similar dimensions.
