Melanotus hepatochrous is given as a synonym of Deconica horizontalis in Species Fungorum (http://www.speciesfungorum.org/Names/SynSpecies.asp?RecordID=515386). Images seem consistent with those in Hubregtse J (2019) Fungi In Australia, Rev. 2.2, page 447 (http://www.fncv.org.au/wp-content/uploads/publications/fungi_in_australia/fia-3-basidio-agarico-I.pdf)
