This looks more like Limnodynastes dumerilii to me, but it's hard to tell with the pictures provided. Heleioporus australiacus is generally found closer to the coast.
The diagnostic feature for the dumerilii group of frogs is the large blister like gland on the hind leg, clearly shown here. Always worth making sure that part of the hind leg is visible for a positive id.
