Sorry, had to undo, this is not Aedes alboannulatus which has a white band a short distance from the knee. Aedes alboannulatus appears to have acquired a new common name the 'white knee mosquito', unfortunately, white knees on mosquitos is a common character found on numerous species, and doesn't reflect a diagnostic character. Unfortunately giving common names to species of such a diverse family as mosquitos should be discouraged.
