Looking at this specimen again I'm not sure this may not be Chloroclystis testulata, given there is an image labelled C testulata in Part 3, Moths of Victoria, p. 31 which shows a near identical white wing patch pattern, and several other very similar examples shown on the ALA webpage for this species. Although the white wing pattern for C. filata is apparently quite variable also, there are none I have seen online which closely matches this pattern. Both species apperently include the ACT within range.

Yes, I agree. The light patches match testulata, not filata. And other pattern and shape elements are consistent with testulata.

I agree: the third line on the forewing (white in this specimen) in particular is not as serrated as that in C. filata, and is more like C. testulata.
