User's notes

This snake was several metres up a tree, presumably trying to raid a birds nest, and appeared to be trying rather unsuccessfully to get down. At one point it nearly fell, but hung on by its tail, and turned upwards and got back to the branches. There were 7 species of small birds flying around nearby scolding it vigorously. When I left it had got into some very leafy branches, and was peering down from there looking for an escape route.

Amazing set of photos - brown snakes are reported to be good at climbing and your photos confirm that! WillO
