Which end is the head?
Too big for smaller families.
Too Hairy for HEPIALOIDEA, GEOMETROIDEA and COSSOIDEA.
Maybe BOMBYCOIDEA or NOCTUOIDEA.
No obvious verrucae: not ANTHELIDAE.
No obvious glands on A6, A7 : not LYMANTRIIDAE
Maybe ARCTIINAE: Spilosoma or Cheliosea ?

I thought the head was the right hand end but I'm not absolutely sure as it wasn't moving.
