I will look it up when I get home. I used to call it Carolina jasmine but I think that is a different plant.

Got it. This is Jasminum mesnyi. Carolina jasmine is Gelsemium sempervirens, with yellow trumpet shaped flowers. Both were sold at Yarralumla Nursery in the 1980s. There are no other local sightings on Atlas of Living Australia but it seems to be a garden escape around Sydney and other places.
