Tall fleabane

Two species are represented in these photos the seed head is of a fleabane, while the leaves are probably those of a Sticky Everlasting. Thanks for the posting, most people overlook fleabane.

Added latest flower head photo for the Tall Fleabane. After the rangers did a burn of the area 3 years ago, the whole area that was burnt was over a metre tall with Tall Fleabane. It was a mess to control and let the grasses come through. Rosette of sticky everlasting removed.

The seedhead looks like Conyza bonariensis or Conyza sumatrensis (which is tall fleabane), I don't usually post Conyza (fleabane) because it is so common - but not as much this year.

It's the Tall Fleabane. The tallest stem is 2 metres.
