I need a photo of the back of a leaf to decide between these two species. The front of the leaf is not hairy enough to be Acaena ovina, but the spines on the flowers are probably too even in length for Acaena echinata.

The spines on the Acaena echinata burr are roughly equal in length while A. ovina burrs have both long and short spines
