There are two species of Drosera like this in the area. Drosera cannot be IDd to species level without a good image of the sepals cupping a flower, or covering a flower bud.
I know D. auriculata only from one site the south slope uphill of Casuarina trail (close to the iron bridge) where it forms herb fields in wet springs; see http://canberranaturemap.org/Community/Sightings/Details/1973241. It seems to me that D peltata more common. But then I spend most of my time weeding and only by chance check out Mt Majura's the native flora...
Drosera peltata is by far the more common of the two throughout the CNM area, but there are enough sightings of Drosera auriculata to warrant not confirming any non-flowering sighting to species level. CNM links to the Atlas of Living Australia so I am very careful about getting flak from interstate about my confirmations.
