I think it more likely to be C. montanus; there is doubt about the authenticity of C. saprophyticus as a separate species, but either way a great find as I don't think its been recorded from Aranda Bushland previously.

Thanks. I am not claiming any credit for finding this Orchid, the walk was organized by Ian and lead by MattM (I think Matt may have found this). Both Bearded Orchids I uploaded today, though different types, were only meters apart. There are a number of other stems still to flower so it will be interesting to see numbers of each.

This is C. montanus. It's part of the colony I found last year. Having said that, I didn't examine this individual to determine if it is saprophyticus.
