Yes max the drought and wet conditions has seen big numbers for a lot of flat weeds. I can't recall a season where cape Weed has become as abundant as it is now. One way to try and limit such outbreaks is to try and retain or enhance grass cover and I think the worst hit areas are those where rabbit and kangaroo overgrazing has occurred.
