Fallen tree with half the roots out of the ground. Has this accelerated the fruiting? All the others around still have yellow flowers

Mike I suspect this is a hybrid between Acacia decurrens and Acacia dealbata, the leaflet size and stem ridges are traits of A. decurrens while the general "look" is A. dealbata

Yes, it is not like pure A. dealbata and not like A. mearnsii which I first thought of - wrong time for pods.

On balance of probabilities I think this is a hybrid
