Hi Janet I had a look at the photo, which appears to have no GPS location info. This sighting should have been rejected, or it should have requested you to give you the location. This looks like a bug in our new report form. You should be able to correct it through "Edit".
Also, Michael- From the below quote, I would assume that any image once uploaded would no longer thave the relevant GPS info attached "EXIF GPS location information Modern cameras as well as smart phones contain GPS sensors which automatically embed EXIF location information of any photographs that the device records. We rely on this information being present in any images you upload to our service, however after we have processed your reported sighting and securely extracted the location information, we deliberately remove all EXIF GPS location information from all images that we display on our web site service."
Just confirming the glitch which allowed this photo to be uploaded has now been resolved. The erroneous GPS location stored within this image was corrupt/invalid and will fail the "Is within CNM accepted boundaries?" test. Great if this location could be manually fixed. Cheers Aaron.
