I took the extra photos to get good pictures of the seed pods.
If you combined the both sightings as one, which would you choose?

Hi Michael, The lower leaves look like Sisymbrium. What threw me in the photos of the plant with fruiting bodies was the narrow leaves subtending them. This character is not described for Sisymbrium. I assumed also that the fruiting body would develop a longer beak.
I have just tried the Brassicaceae key in VicFlora. Using reasonable assumptions it comes to a choice between Sisymbrium, Barbarea, and Rorippa. I don't think it is either of the latter.
