Thanks! I am new to this and understood all my garden sightings would be of interest. Goo dot know I got one unusual pigeon! I thought the striated pardalote might be uncommon too? I have many photos from Mt Majura too and guess they may be of interest if I can add coordinates. Thanks for your confirmations and comments. Peter
Yes, every report is valuable. Your pigeon is quite a special find (I have personally not seen one yet, hence why I have left it for Chris to confirm). Striated Pardalotes are fairly common in the reserves although less so than the Spotted Pardalote and in the suburbs, as is getting a good low-down view as they are often up in the canopy
