Ryu - you can add the leaves of this one to your salad - but it is a taste that I'm yet to acquire. It looks a lot like the native Acaena (Sheep's Burr) but the round fruiting heads of Salad Burnet lack spines and as seen in your photos, the leaflets towards the top of the leaf have small stems, while Sheep Burr leaflets attach directly to the main stem.
