I personally wouldn't make a call from this photo (Either Horsfield's or Shining Bronze-cuckoo). What was the reasoning from those that IDed it on the chatline?

Hi Ryu, no specific comments made on 14 December 2015. Maybe the lack of facial barring on the 'cheeks' is a clue?

I suspect this is a young individual if it is a Horsfield's as their adults have a much more distinctive line through the eye. That said, on second inspection, I'm fairly sure there shouldn't be brown behind the eyes in a shining, so while this does not seem line much of a line, should be okay for Horsfield's. Will leave it for Chris D to make the final call
