Certainly not a Bassian Thrush. I am 99% sure it is a cuckoo, but I don't have enough experience with them to ID to a species. If I find time I will have a look in the field guide

Hi Ryu. It looks like a juvenile Pallid Cuckoo. What do you think?

From a quick glance in the field guide, I'd be leaning towards Brush Cuckoo although I wouldn't rule out Fan-tailed or Pallid Cuckoos. Again, no way this is a Bassian Thrush

Actually, I think it is very likely to be a juvenile Brush Cuckoo (although there seems to be only a single record for Red Hill). It would still be worth checking for a second opinion from someone else in COG.
