A dominant grass in unmown section of Pearl Gibbs Parkland, Bonner. This grass is threatening to cover all of the remaining native understorey left in the park.
I have just been out spraying serrated tussock - ran out of poison before I ran out of tussock. It has been a declared noxious weed since 1954 and PCS is doing what it can in priority areas. Maybe it is time for the Government to come good on its promise: "Additional funding for specific weed control projects will be considered in future budgets." African lovegrass is even worse.
