This grass is poorly reported in the ACT, but we suspect that it is quite widespread. We would appreciate your help in testing this suspicion. It seems to be thriving this summer and now is a good time to look out for it. It has a solitary flower spike, with 3-25 small florets along the stem, the lemma is 3 nerved, with the central nerve projecting as a fine and small awn. The leaves are small 1-3 cm long.
