According to Terry Tame's book "Acacias of south east Australia" Acacia ulicifolia has crowded phyllodes, usually more than 5 per cm of branchlet, and the phyllodes taper from the base to the apex. The photo shows well separated phyllodes, and an abrupt contraction of the phyllodes into the pungent point, which is what A. genistifolia does.
