Above Federal Highway - near junction with Majura Parkway. In disturbed Red Stringybark - Brittle Gum open forest, in which there has been some Eucalypt and wattle planting. The ten plants present were of different sizes so may be a self seeding planting. There is a 1930 record of Acacia aspera from Parliament house - I have never seen this plant but it is supposed to have a hairy pod, but the photos I have seen show narrower leaves.
