There have been several of these without the circle at the bases of the petals recorded on CNM recently.

Hi Rosemary. Thank you for your great photos. Without changing anything else, I've taken a copy of the main photo, cropped it to show the flower clearly, then added it back to the sighting. I've done this because the shape of the thumb sized pictures on the species lists are in landscape shape and therefore don't do justice to your good photo which is in portrait shape. I am trying to improve the look of the species lists on the SpeciesList pages, and also the main picture on the Species pages, and I have used your photo to do so. I hope this is ok.
