The leaves don't look quite the right shape for obliquinerva and the branched racemes make it look more like A. penniveris. The leaves don't appear curved or long enough to be A. falciformis.

I think you could be correct with your suggestion of A. penninervis

A. penninervis is supposed to flower from Nov-Feb, so it may not be this species either!

It is not A. obliquinervia, which has 20-35 flowers per head. This plant appears to have about 10-15. Any reason why you do not think it is Acacia rubida? A. penninervis has a prominent indented gland on the edge of the 'leaf' 5-30mm above the base of the 'leaf', which is connected to the midvein by a fine oblique vein pointing towards the 'leaf' stalk. There is a suggestion of this in the photos, but it is not clear. Any reason why you do not think it is Acacia rubida?

Oops. I hit 'send' before doing a final check on the wording.

A couple of traits made me think it might be A. penninervis. Firstly the racemes appear to be branched and secondly the phyllodes seem to be broadest at a point more than halfway along the length of the phyllode. I recorded a population of A. penninervis in flower last week though this does seem quite early based on the literature.
