I'm being a pessimist but could it be Galium aparine?

I see the location has been recorded as "Undefined Area" but it is definitely at Mt Majura near my other sightings.

Fran I think this location is a horse paddock managed as reserve, and is not technically in Mt Majura Reserve

There are definately 6 leaves in the whorl of this Galium, our native species have whorls of less than six. I think this is the exotic Slender Bedstraw Galium divaricatum

Thanks for that diagnostic tip, Michael.

I am being conservative. We really need some flowers or fruiting bodies to be absolutely certain.

About the location: north of the fence = special purpose reserve horse holding paddock; south of the fence = nature reserve. The area south of the fence has been recently removed from special purpose reserve and included into nature reserve The CNM boundaries may not reflect this change.
