User's notes

Went to an area with a known population of Canberra Spider Orchids on Mt Majura. Found what I believe to be three leaves from three plants.

Great find Matt. I concur that this is what these are. I know the area as well. Would be good to get Tony's thoughts. If you want another challenge, keep an eye out for more of these around Mt Majura as well. Only known in a very small area, but that means hey there are possibly more. http://canberranaturemap.org/Community/Sightings/Details/27078

I would keep an eye out, but I have only been to Mt Majura twice. Once last year, and once today. I've got the entire mountain to comb for ALL orchids present.

I take your advice Aaron that this is C. actensis being from a known location.

Yes, as far as I can see the specimen is from a known Canberra Spider orchid site - great to see that they are out and about this spring.
