When I initially tried to identify this I used the Flora of NSW vol 3 edn 1 which placed this in the genus Pratia. Of the species reported occurring in the southern tablelands region (P. surrepens, P. puberula, P. pedunculata and P. species A) only P. pedunculata was reported to have corolla lobes sometimes with a darker central line which I think is present in my image. In the online version of the Flora of New South Wales of these four species only P. pedunculata and P. species A is now listed as being present in the southern tablelands region with P. species A (with a white corolla) occurring south from the Kosciusko area. Since P. surrepens and P. puberula are not in the current flora I assumed they were not recorded from NSW or were synonyms of P. pedunculata. I’ve yet to try and chase up the move of Pratia into Lobelia where perhaps more information might be found. At this stage I am wondering what other species my image might be considered to belong to? I hope to get back into this area this summer as I have quite a few plants to revisit from here and want to ensure I photograph the necessary features.

PlantNET has not brought its website up to date. Pratia has been subsumed into Lobelia, and Pratia pedunculata and Pratia puberula are both Lobelia pedunculata.
