Thanks for noting this bee. Was it feeding from flower to flower. I inspected hundreds of attenuatus at Waniassa hills yesterday and only saw honeybees.

It may be but to the naked eye it didn’t appear hairy. The antennae were distinctly bent I can see this in the original of photo two. Images I can find of C. antipodes don’t seem to show the bent antenna

It might be Lasioglossum, but could it be Callomelitta antipodes?
