WEE100: Weemalla Sarah's Wallaroo site
Small dam just below the house. Weemalla is one of two houses at the end of Fairview Rd, which is the first left off Spring Range Rd from Canberra (after the bitumen ends). Directions for reaching Weemalla: leave Canberra on the Barton Highway, and shortly after crossing the NSW border, turn on to Spring Range Road. Fairview Road is the first turning to the left after the bitumen ends and at about 7km from the Barton Highway. Follow Fairview Road to the end. Weemalla is straght ahead over a grid after a short stretch of bitumen. (Geranium Springs is to the right.) Raod to Weemalla crosses the bank of a large dam (to right). Monitored dam is 150m down the same drainage line and can be reached through the house garden.
