On review, yes this is the best fit: http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/NSWfl.pl?page=nswfl&lvl=sp&name=Callistemon~subulatus

Michael M and I discussed this taxonomy and agreed to use the Approved Name rather than ACT usage because a lor more than half of the area covered by CNM is in NSW. ACT has decided not to use the Approves Name, as is its right. https://biodiversity.org.au/nsl/services/search?product=APNI&tree.id=&name=Callistemon+subu%25&inc._scientific=&inc.scientific=on&inc._cultivar=&inc._other=&max=100&display=apni&search=true

Not planted. But keys out to this: http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/NSWfl.pl?page=nswfl&lvl=sp&name=Callistemon~rigidus The prominent oil glands are distinctive. Too large for M. subulata syn C. subulatus.
ACT Herbarium calls all Callistemon, Melaleuca now. NSW PLANTNET still has them as Callistemon. Will collect on weekend for herbarium.

Is that name a newly created name or just a suggested name? I have added Melaleuca subulata as a synonym to the already existing name Callistemon subulatus.
