The white dorsal stripe does suggest a Tinzeda although I have nver seen a nymph before.

I'm not sure we can assign many phaneropterine nymphs (this is a Vth instar male) to a species or even a genus. Polichne tenuis has not been described on CNM as far as I can see and is not in Dave Rentz's book. I have not been able to find a picture of its nymph but don't know my way around i-naturalist. I will check with Youning after the Christmas break but I doubt without an adult that we can proceed further. If you have the time perhaps you can return to the same spot at Bungonia to look for an adult. Are you posting on i-naturalist as well as NM? I understand Connors is based in Cairns so I am not sure what experience he has with our local katydid fauna but the genera Tinzeda and Polichne have few local species so far in the CNM field guide.
